When your baby has just been born, the First Arrival Lactation Consultation offers essential guidance and support to help you navigate the early days of feeding your newborn. This includes:

• Personalized Feeding Guidance: Support with latch techniques, positioning, and ensuring your baby is feeding effectively.

• Troubleshooting Common Challenges: Addressing issues such as nipple pain, engorgement, low milk supply, or difficulty with breastfeeding.

• Milk Supply Management: Tips for boosting or maintaining a healthy milk supply, including dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

• Pumping and Bottle-Feeding Support: Guidance on expressing milk, storing it, and transitioning between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding if needed.

• Emotional Support: Encouragement and reassurance, especially if breastfeeding feels challenging or overwhelming.

Discounted Follow-Up Visits: After your initial consultation, follow-up visits are available for just $75 to continue providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.

As a Washington State certified birth doula, I am proud to accept Apple Health (Medicaid) insurance, and I can work with HCA accounts and other insurance providers to help secure reimbursement for covered doula support services.
